Stained glass
restoration

To preserve heritage, restoring a stained glass window means returning it to its original state. It calls for technical, artistic, historical and cultural expertise, which the workshop has practised for more than forty years.

Our method

Conservation-led, respectful restoration

01

More than 40 years of experience

Many restorations, from chapels to cathedrals, in France and abroad.

02

Rigorous methods

Proven techniques, rigorously applied at every stage of the project.

03

High-quality antique glass

Replacement glass is chosen to match the original colour and texture.

04

Historic monuments

The workshop works with France’s historic monuments services.

05

Architects and scientists

Every assignment is carried out with heritage architects and scientists.

06

Respect for the work

Conserve before replacing: a respectful, rigorous and lasting intervention.

Historic monuments

In the service of listed heritage

The workshop works alongside France’s historic monuments services. For more than forty years, public institutions have entrusted it with the conservation of their stained glass heritage.
Listed or registered buildings: every restoration is approved by the architects responsible for the buildings concerned.

Public and private buildings

To restore is to pass on

The workshop restores stained glass in public and private buildings and brings together the skills needed for the technical challenges of each project.
Each restoration becomes part of the building’s history: it keeps the charm of the architectural heritage, with rigour and in line with the rules of the craft and of conservation.
