The art of stained glass,
from cathedrals to your home

Creating a unique piece, bringing light back to a century-old window, integrating glass into contemporary architecture: since 1981, the Vitraux Imbert workshop has brought the same master glassmaker’s skills to historic monuments, religious buildings, businesses and private clients.

“Turning outside light
into inner light.”

Stained glass is a work of art in its own right. Through the play of colour, the quality of antique glass and the lines of the lead, it turns every ray of sunlight into emotion. Whether we are creating or restoring, the same standard guides every step: work made to last for centuries.

Stained glass creation

A unique piece, designed for your light

From the outset, the workshop operates as a design office: site survey, model, 3D rendering, glass samples and test panel. Everything is then drawn, cut, painted, fired and leaded by hand in our Marseille workshop.

Private clients — Interior decoration

Here, every piece of stained glass is one of a kind.

Creativity is a state of mind, and a way of living is something to be nurtured. For more than forty years, the workshop has explored the endless possibilities of decorative stained glass: entrance screens, transoms, partitions, doors, domes or a simple light panel. Everything is designed, personalised and made to measure so that your home has its own signature, with elegance and distinction.

Religious buildings — Places of worship

Colour chosen for its symbolism as much as its beauty.

Stained glass has come down through the centuries and found its place in every architectural style. Our workshop creates stained glass for churches, chapels, synagogues and mosques, in keeping with the style of the building, its liturgy and the wishes of the communities and architects.

Public and private buildings — Architecture

Escape, well-being and light.

Lobbies, institutional headquarters, regional council buildings, residences: we bring together the skills needed to meet the technical challenges of each project, working with architects and the other trades. Each creation fits into the history of the building, rustic or modern, and creates a depth of light with shifting reflections.

Businesses — Hotels, restaurants, shops

A signature for your brand.

Your business should reflect your brand identity, and stained glass can do just that. Brasseries, pubs, hotels, shops, château hotels, restaurants… From designing the pattern to adapting it to your interior, we support you from start to finish to rethink the whole space.

Stained glass restoration

The art of restoring stained glass to its original state

Preserving heritage through stained glass restoration calls for technical, artistic, historical and cultural expertise. For more than forty years, the Vitraux Imbert workshop has carried out many restorations thanks to its skill, experience and knowledge of heritage, using rigorous methods and high-quality antique glass.

Private and public buildings

We work on private, public and listed buildings, respecting technical requirements and deadlines. The aim: a restoration that respects the work, rigorous and long-lasting, bringing light and colour back to worn, broken or damaged stained glass.

Historic monuments

Skill, culture and rigour in the service of heritage. France’s historic monuments service has trusted us for more than forty years, and the confidence of our partners has led to the workshop being entrusted with restoring prestigious and unique stained glass, in France and abroad, alongside architects and scientists.
